 Sailing at HSC
Racing at HSC takes place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from April until the end of November. There are also evening races on Wednesdays from May to the end of August. There are separate starts for the Fast Handicap and Slow Handicap fleets.

Start times 2024
Saturday and Sunday: 14:00  15:00  16:00  Wednesday:  19:30

Free Sailing: members who simply wish to sail without taking part in club races are welcome to do so alongside boats racing except during the four Open events each year.

Sailing is also permitted in season during the following periods:
Saturdays - Dawn until 19:00
Sundays - Noon until 19:00
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - Dawn until Dusk
Wednesdays - Noon until Dusk
Mondays- No sailing (except Bank Holidays)

Coaching generally takes place on Saturday afternoons on an informal basis.  Training days are arranged for junior members during the summer holidays.
